Priest of the God and the Goddess and Eubouleus
The god and goddess mentioned in the title of this official are Pluto and Persephone, but it remains unclear who Eubouleus is. According to one theory, he is Chthonic Zeus. Another view holds that the three deities are of Pelasgian origin and therefore anonymous, as was customary in this ancient religious tradition. The primary source of information about the priest is the famous relief of Lacrateides, who seems to have served in this position. Lacrateides dedicated this impressive work of art on behalf of himself, his sons, Sostratos and Dionysios, and his wife, Dionysia.
